purewaste.com/ Design Director I have been working at Pure Waste since August 2016, and my journey with this pioneering company in the recycled textile industry still continues. Pure Waste, founded in 2013, produces timeless and high quality products made from 100% recycled materials. My responsibilities include product design, product development, production management, supply chain management and procurement. Production happens in India and Bangladesh, so I have been lucky to travel a lot to see the facilities. Designing and arranging campaigns, fairs and photo shootings are also familiar to me. During these nine years, I have also had the opportunity to work on numerous inspiring collaboration projects with both companies and artists. |

Self-employed During the years 2012–2022 I worked as a side under my own business name, i & Krista Korkiakoski, designing and producing my own i & KK collection. In addition, I provided pattern making and product manufacturing services for private clients as well as for the following brands: MEM by Paula Malleus, Kielo, and Hanna Sarén. Through my business, I also created various digital materials, including line drawings, print design, tech packs and websites.
